Ian leads the Resolution Foundation’s wealth research programme. Until recently Ian was Executive Director of the UK policy unit and Chief Economist at the Tony Blair Institute. Before that he was the Director of Consulting at Oxford Economics, a global economic analysis company, and Director of the Social Market Foundation think tank. He has also been an economic advisor at HM Treasury. Ian currently chairs the board of Generation Rent, a campaign group for tenants in the private rented sector.
