Clive Cowdery

Chairman

Clive Cowdery was previously the Chief Executive of Resolution Life Group Limited, a company that he founded in 2003, He was appointed Chairman of Resolution plc in September 2005 following the merger of Britannic Group plc and Resolution Life Group Limited.

He started his career in insurance advising clients as a broker and was previously Chairman and Chief Executive of GE's primary insurance operations in Europe (GE Insurance Holdings), worth over $3 billion of premium income.

The businesses he led included Europe's largest credit insurer with operations in twelve countries and life and pensions companies in the UK and France, Before joining GE in 1998, he co-founded Scottish Amicable International/Rothschild International, a European cross-border insurance business based in Dublin and formed in 1992, He is Chairman of the charity the Resolution Foundation.

Tina Alexandrou

Tina Alexandrou's career has been within the financial services industry, both in the UK and internationally. She was a principle consultant with KPMG's insurance practice prior to taking a career break. Tina is currently a trustee for Age Concern Hammersmith and & Fulham, as well as for Resolution Foundation.

Guy Morton

Trustee

Guy Morton is the joint senior partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Prior to this, he was head of the firm's financial services practice. He specializes in banking, investment banking and financial markets. Guy has also contributed to the development of European financial services legislation, both as an advisor and as a United Kingdom representative. Born in 1952, he was educated at Chorpus Christi College, Oxford and has been a partner at Freshfields since 1986.

Sue Regan

Trustee

Sue Regan was Chief Executive of the Resolution Foundation from 2005-2010. Before joining the Foundation, she was Special Adviser to Rt Hon David Blunkett MP at the Department for Work and Pensions. Prior to that, she was Director of Policy at Shelter and Associate Director and Head of Social Policy at the Institute for Public Policy Research. Sue has also worked as a civil servant at the then Department for Social Security, for Gartmore PLC and was a founding Director of Elevations Ltd, a building renovation company

Patrick Stevens

Trustee

Patrick Stevens is a partner in Ernst & Young, following many years as Managing Partner of part of the UK firm of Ernst & Young. He is a tax specialist by background, particularly concerned with individuals, partnerships, and investment funds. He is a member of Council of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the leading organization for tax practitioners in the UK.
