Financial Health Index

The Resolution Foundation is developing a financial health index which will monitor changes in a range of measures of financial health. Indicators will detail the position of both individual households and the UK as a whole and will cover the three areas of financial health: preventative, primary and remedial. Indicators will be measured against a benchmark period to provide a measure of the areas in which financial health is improving or deteriorating. The individual indicators will be weighted to form a single index which will offer an overall assessment of UK households’ financial health.
