Opportunities

Head of Ventures

The Resolution Foundation is looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team and lead the work of Resolution Ventures, a new centre that will use social investment to back practical innovation that advances the Foundation’s core mission of raising living standards for low to middle income Britain.

Working directly with the Chief Executive and Chair, the post holder will grow our pioneering ‘workertech’ programme, lead a major new initiative on inclusive fintech and develop our wider social investment strategy.

This is a new role and the post holder will need to be credible, enterprising and capable of working collaboratively within an organisation committed to the highest analytical standards.

We’re interested in candidates with a strong entrepreneurial mind set and significant experience in early stage development of mission-driven social ventures. Knowledge of innovation and social investment is essential, as is the ability to identify opportunities where impact investment will advance the Foundation’s objectives. The role will also involve managing relations with strategic partners, support with fundraising and working directly with trustees. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

We are offering a permanent contract and are open to part-time and flexible working arrangements. The Foundation offers a competitive benefits package and family-friendly policies.

The Resolution Foundation is actively seeking to improve the diversity of our workforce and welcomes applications from all under-represented communities and groups. We are also happy to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate specific individual requirements.

Closing date: 12:00am on 12 January 2020

First interviews will be held on 16-17 January 2020.
