Low earners voting intentions in the General Election

In the lead up to the general election we wanted to understand what issues motivate low earners to vote and for whom, especially as they make up a third of the electorate.

To this end, the Foundation held low earner select committees in three marginal seats with a high proportion of low earners to explore what issues low income households are concerned about. It also gave their local prospective parliamentary candidates (including the sitting MP) an opportunity to listen and join in the discussion about what they might do as their MP. We supported this work with national polling of low earners.
