Torsten is our Chief Executive. He has a background in economic policy, with his current research focuses including inequality, the labour market, tax and beneﬁts, and housing and wealth.
Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Economist
Mike is Chief Economist and the Deputy Chief Executive of the Resolution Foundation, where he oversees all aspects of the Foundation’s research agenda.
Adam joined the Resolution Foundation in May 2014, and his writing and analysis focus on tax and welfare, the labour market and fiscal policy.
Nye joined the Resolution Foundation in October 2018 and conducts research on labour markets and skills.
Director of Resources
Jayne joined the Foundation in 2008 and has responsibility for resources and internal operations, including finance, HR and governance.
Tara joined the Resolution Foundation in August 2020, primarily on the Foundation's events, publications and digital content creation.
Maja joined the Foundation in July 2019. Her work focuses on intergenerational fairness.
Sophie joined the Resolution Foundation in 2021, focussing on Brexit and trade policy. Prior to this she worked at the Department for International Trade, leading analysis to support the negotiation of new free trade agreements.
Rebecca joined the Resolution Foundation Communications team in 2018. Alongside the rest of the Communications team, she looks after the Resolution Foundation website, social media, media communications and branding.
Karl joined the Resolution Foundation in January 2020. He specialises on welfare, but also works on broader labour market and economic growth issues.
Senior Research and Policy Analyst
Kathleen joined the Resolution Foundation in 2017, working on post-16 skills and education, including apprenticeships, technical and higher education, and adult skills development.
Director of Communications
Rob joined the Resolution Foundation in September 2014 as Director of Communications. Previously he was Senior Campaigns and Communications Officer at the Trades Union Congress.
Lindsay joined the Resolution Foundation in February 2016. She oversees the organisation’s work on a range of issues including housing, labour market enforcement and lived experience.
Gavin is a media commentator on economics and public policy. He established and oversees the Foundation’s pioneering support of innovative ventures that practically improve living standards, as well as covering a wide range of issues spanning economic policy, public services and social mobility.
Sharmina is the Foundation's Resources Manager, working with the Director of Resources.
Jack joined the Resolution Foundation in June 2019. His work focuses on macroeconomics and wealth inequality. Prior to joining the Foundation, he worked at the Bank of England.
Jonny joined the Resolution Foundation in July 2021 to lead its work on Net Zero. He was previously employed at a climate change think tank, in the private sector and in academia.
Director of Ventures
Louise joined the Resolution Foundation in 2020 and works on Resolution Ventures, the social investment activities of the Foundation, with a focus on worker tech and financial health and resilience.
Charlie joined the Resolution Foundation as a Researcher in February 2019. His work focuses on economic geography, labour markets and living standards.
Team Executive Assistant
Sophie joined the Resolution Foundation in July 2021. She has a BA and MPhil in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
Chukwu joined the Resolution Foundation in June 2020. His work includes managing the day-to-day finance operations and assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
Felicia joined the Resolution Foundation as an Economist in 2021, focusing on housing. Previously she worked in the civil service on a range of policy areas including housing markets, environmental economics and local government finance.
Emma joined the Resolution Foundation in April 2021. She manages the investment pipeline and Workertech community for Resolution Ventures, the social investment activity of the foundation with a focus on worker tech.
Krishan joined the Foundation in March 2021. His work focuses on welfare, wealth inequality, and macroeconomics.
Hannah joined the Resolution Foundation as an Economic Analyst in September 2019, focusing on labour markets. Previously she spent three years in the civil service working on a variety of social and economic policy issues.
James joined the Foundation as Research Director in October 2018. His work focuses on wealth, debt and housing as well as leading the Foundation’s work on macro policy.
Greg is a Research Director at the Resolution Foundation, and a visiting fellow in the LSE Centre for Macroeconomics.
Daniel joined the Resolution Foundation from HM Treasury in 2015. He’s worked on a range of topics while at RF, including housing, employment, public spending and living standards.
Lalitha joined the Foundation in April 2021. Her work focuses on living standards, poverty, inequality and welfare. Before joining the Foundation, she worked at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
President of the Advisory Council and Intergenerational Centre
The Rt Hon. Lord David Willetts is the President of the Foundation’s Advisory Council and Intergenerational Centre, and chaired the Foundation’s recent Intergenerational Commission.
