Senior Economist – Net Zero

We’re looking for a Senior Economist to lead our work on the economics of net zero. The role will focus on how economic policy, broadly conceived, should respond to maximise the growth opportunities and minimise the costs that this transition will entail, while ensuring that people in low-to-middle income households in the UK share in these benefits and do not disproportionately bear the costs.

Senior Economist – Trade Policy

We’re looking for a Senior Economist to lead our work lead our work on the economics of trade. This role will focus on how the levers in trade policy can best be used, in conjunction with other policies, to improve the living standards of UK households, particularly those on low-to-middle incomes.

Work Experience

Each year we run a work experience programme for students who have completed year 12 or 13 and have an interest in pursuing a career in economic research and / or policy making.

We arrange all our placements via Access Aspiration and regret that we do not take direct applications.
