Julia joined Resolution Foundation in August 2025 to work on a Nuffield Foundation-funded project to analyse job mobility and career progression in England. Her research interests include topics in labour economics and productivity. Before joining the Resolution Foundation, she held research roles at The Productivity Institute and the Welsh Government. She has completed a PhD in Economics which investigates and analyses gender pay gaps in key public sector occupations in Great Britain.
